Nitric Oxide (NO), a type of Specialty Gas, is a colorless, toxic, and strongly oxidizing gas (molecular weight: 30.01) with paramagnetic properties. It rapidly reacts with oxygen at room temperature to form nitrogen dioxide (NO₂). Its density at 20°C is 1.27 g/L, slightly higher than air. As a critical reactive gas, nitric oxide plays an irreplaceable role in semiconductor thin-film deposition and medical gas therapy.
